We came to know Peter when he came to offer advise to my family and i over direction of the farm business.  Peter soon got to grip with our unique family dynamics!! (3 generations of farmer in the same room!!) Able to explain to all the age groups his findings and how to approach the future! Peter went on to oversee the varying tenancy's and contract arrangement's we had .During this time Peter became a great friend and  listener to myself. When the majority of the partnership decided to retire, again it was Peter and Andrew Henley came to our aid , enabling the remaining partners to not only continue farming but to remain progressive.  Peter will always be the man who would find that needle in a haystack , not once , but countless times, especially when you couldn't see a way out yourself. His optimism and infectious humour made his visits a breath of fresh air! Even as little as 10 months ago his words of encouragement, wisdom and  ,not just good, but the correct advise put us back on course! I and the family will sorely miss Peter , and i am honoured to have shared some of my life with him.
